Notes from the organiser's side of the clipboard
Most group activities are planned by someone who already has a full-time job. These notes are for that person: the HR partner, office manager or team lead who has been asked to sort out the team day or the family day and wants to get it right without reinventing everything.
The notes
- Running a team day for a whole division
- Team days for a group of around twenty
- Family days for companies in Jurong and the west
- Planning a family day for every age
- Weather planning for outdoor group days
Where we would start
Before you look at a single venue, write down who is coming, what the day is for and how much of it you want outdoors. Those three answers rule out more options than any brochure, and they give you something to test every later choice against.
What these notes try to do
We keep things practical: the order to make decisions in, the questions worth asking a venue and the small details that decide whether people enjoy themselves. Venue details change, so treat anything specific as a prompt to check with the venue directly.
